Johnstown is a small town with a big-city feel, incredible scenery, and some of the most underrated talent around. We wanted to shoot where the people and the place are as much a part of the story as the script itself.

Small towns like Johnstown and Somerset are full of hidden gems. This film is our way of helping make those dreams a reality, whether that's a high schooler, a college student, or a grandparent stepping in front of a camera for the first time.

This is reward-based crowdfunding. When you back the film at any tier, you're not purchasing equity or ownership in NGF — you're pre-ordering access, perks, and recognition tied to your tier, from digital credits to on-set experiences, depending on the level you choose.

Naphtali Prinsloo is the Chief Executive Officer of New Generation Family: responsible for vision, capital strategy, and long-term enterprise architecture.He operates at the ownership layer of culture, developing and controlling intellectual property across music, media, publishing, and experiential ventures. As CEO, he directs expansion strategy, partnerships, and infrastructure development, ensuring that NGF functions as an independent, vertically integrated cultural enterprise.Naphtali does not simply create content. He builds and governs the systems that produce, distribute, and monetize it, positioning NGF for sustained influence and generational leverage.

Sarah Prinsloo

Sarah Prinsloo is the President of New Generation Family: overseeing brand direction, creative execution, and operational alignment across the company’s ventures.She functions as both strategist and creative authority, translating vision into structure. Her leadership spans publishing, culinary lifestyle development, visual identity, and experiential concepts, ensuring that each NGF division maintains coherence, excellence, and long-term positioning.Where NGF builds infrastructure, Sarah shapes the experience: refining narrative, aesthetics, and audience connection while maintaining executive oversight of growth and expansion.

Aaron Long

Aaron Long is a landscape photographer whose work captures scale, atmosphere, and natural power with composition and tonal control.As talent within New Generation Family, he contributes visual authority through expansive environmental imagery: translating geography into narrative and elevating brand presence through cinematic landscape perspective.

Eric Crookham

Eric Crookham is a musician and guitarist whose sound crafts layered compositions that move between atmosphere and intensity.With the release of his album Painted Skies, Eric establishes a distinct sonic identity rooted in expressive guitar work, textured arrangements, and musicianship. His work reflects translating personal narrative into immersive soundscapes.

DJ Alpha is known for blending electronic, hip-hop, and international rhythms into high-energy sets built for the dance floor. As part of the Wolf Clan collective, DJ Alpha represents a new generation of DJs focused on cross-cultural fusion, bringing together sounds from different regions of the world into one unified sonic experience

Bringing together DJs and producers from different parts of the world, the collective blends genres such as hip-hop, house, Afro rhythms, and global electronic influences to create high-energy sets and releases that fuse cultures through music. SEED founding host site

Our founding site in Western Pennsylvania serves as the operational model for the SEED program. In partnership with local partners, it supports summer food programs while providing active community gardens, seed bank access, family grow initiatives, business meetups, and mentorship — ensuring sustainability and economic development are aligned, not separated.

Why This Matters
